EDR1RXD1 Everydrop Water Filter 1
Enjoy fresh, filtered water and ice from your refrigerator. Filter 1 from EveryDrop by Whirlpool Ice and Water is certified by NSF to reduce 24 contaminants – including pharmaceuticals, pesticides, waterborne parasites, lead, asbestos, and industrial chemicals in addition to providing great tasting water by reducing the presence of chlorine. Each filter provides 200 Gal. of filtered water and should be changed every 3 – 6 months to ensure proper contaminant removal and flow rate. EveryDrop by Whirlpool Water Ice and Water filters are the only filters guaranteed to work in Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, and Amana refrigerators.

Replacement Instructions
Interior Mount
- Locate filter compartment at the right upper corner inside the refrigerator.
- You might have to remove the upper shelf for more room.
- Gently lift up on filter cover and filter will automatically slide out.
- Slide old filter all the way out, noticing the arrow on the end is facing up. (the water will shut off automatically)
- Discard the old filter.
- Line the arrow on end of the new filter upward.
- Gently Push the new filter into the fridge with arrow facing up till it stops.
- As you close the filter cover you will notice that the filter will go in and lock into place.
- Reinstall Shelf (if taken out)
- Reset your change filter light (if your fridge has one)
Mounts Thru Lower Front Grill Mount
- Locate filter at the lower front grill of refrigerator.
- Gently lift up on filter cover and filter will automatically slide out.
- Slide old filter all the way out, noticing the arrow on the end is facing up. (the water will shut off automatically)

- Line the arrow on end of the new filter upward & Gently Push the new filter into the fridge with arrow facing up till it stops.
- As you close the filter cover you will notice that the filter will go in and lock into place.

Resetting Your Filter Change Indicator
- Press the light switch (the one that the refrigerator door presses each time you close the door) 5 times within 10 seconds.

Maintenance For Refrigerator Water Filtration System
- Flush Filter with Water from Dispenser (Approximately 2 gallons) until Water Runs Clear and air is purged from system.
- Write the date of installation on the filter and mark your calendar for 4 – 6 months as a reminder to Change Your Filter.
