To install an EDRARXD1 filter Find the filter compartment in your refrigerator, twist the old filter counter-clockwise to remove it, then twist the new filter in clockwise until it locks, and finally, flush 2-4 gallons of water through the dispenser to activate the filter and remove air.

1. Locate the filter housing: Open the refrigerator door to find the water filter, which is typically located in the top right corner of the refrigerator compartment or at the base of the refrigerator.

2. Remove the old filter: Press the locking tab (if present) to open the housing, then twist the old filter counter-clockwise until it releases and pull it out. Have a cloth ready to catch any drips.

3. Prepare the new filter: Take the new EDRARXD1 filter and align it to face the opening in the housing.

4. Insert and lock the new filter: Push the new filter into the opening and turn it clockwise until it locks into place. The filter will click when it’s fully inserted and locked.

5. Flush the filter: Close the filter housing. Press and hold the water dispenser for about 1 minute to release air, then run 2-4 gallons of water through the dispenser to flush out any residual carbon and prepare the filter for use.
