Whirlpool & Kitchen Aid Models:
- If the refrigerator has this:
Press OPTIONS BUTTON, Then LOCK BUTTON, Then MEASURED FILL BUTTON. - FRENCH DOOR BOTTOM FREEZER
At the touchpad hold (FAST COOL) and (ENERGY SAVER) buttons at the same time for 3 seconds or until you hear a beep.
This will turn the light from orange to blue.
(NOTE) If the fridge doesn’t beep after holding down the “Fast Cool” and “Energy Saver” buttons for 3 seconds, wipe the touchpad with a clean cloth and then press the buttons again. - SIDE BY SIDE
After changing the filter, Hold down the (FILTER) button for 3 seconds to reset the light.
Hold the button down until it beeps or the light changes from orange to blue. - FRENCH DOOR
After changing the water filter, reset the status. Press and hold the (WATER FILTER) button for 3 seconds.
When the system is reset, the water filter icon will return to its BLUE color and the words “Replace Filter” will disappear from the display. - OTHER MODEL
After changing the filter, reset the filter status light by pressing and hold the (LIGHT) and (ICE TYPE) buttons for 3 seconds.
The status light will turn off when the system is reset. - OTHER MODEL
After changing the filter, touch (MAX COOL) and (MAX ICE) together for 3 seconds to reset the water filter.
The display will do a 3-second countdown, then flash the icon and play a tone.
