Installing the Whirlpool WPW10190929 Ice Mold & Heater Assembly

  • Remove ice maker from freezer.
  • Place ice maker on a table or workbench.
  • Remove ice maker front cover (if applicable).
  • Remove wire shut off arm from ice maker.
  • Remove electrical plug from ice maker (depress tab and pull out plug).
  • Notice 2 large holes near bottom of module. Insert phillips screwdriver and loosen 2 screws.
  • Pull ice maker head directly from ice mold.
  • Remove rake & water fill cup.
  • Take new mold assembly and install water fill cup & rake.
  • Next follow rest of steps in reverse order to finish the replacement.
  • Now it?s all done and ready to freeze. Enjoy.
